Project Description
Event poster ad for the Latino/a Urban Fusion youth social. Featuring well known Denver DJs, this HIV-testing event presents a safe and substance-free environment for youth ages 13-24. The combination of the youth driven hip-hop culture with the health advocacy networks produced a successful means of reaching out to young Latinos and bringing issues of healthy lifestyles to their scope of interest. Focusing on youth health advocacy, the event managed to bring and fuse together health care advocates and organizations with youth whose health is statistically at risk.
